In life there are different periods. I want to tell you about a few of the most important ones.
Maturation or formation.Of all the internal processes, this is one of the most uncomfortable. At this time, God is working on us from within. The most surprising thing is, as it turns out, that we know ourselves very poorly. The Lord, however, knows everything about us — our secret desires, goals, motives, etc. That’s why He works on everyone who have started on the path of ministry.
God works with our habits, beliefs, values, character, will, and morality. Everything passes through His screening system and verification.
Act. This is the second significant factor. While communicating with many Christians around the world, I noticed that many do not understand this important stone in the foundation of Christian ministry. Life does not consist only of conferences, events, schools, teaching, singing, reading the Bible, fasting and prayer. Yes, each of these elements are important and good; but all of these are stepping stones to further action. Stepping stones that lead to responsibility, diligence, the need to think, analyze and act. We need to go and evangelize, pray for people, start a ministry or a church, a mission or a home group in order to reach someone. The fruit that glorifies Jesus is in the realm of these two processes. In the first process, His nature is formed in us; and in the second, His nature, through us, has an impact on this world.
For a successful international mission, these two factors are decisive.
The mission needs people with the God-formed character who are ready for action. God will not do what He commissioned us to do. Just like we cannot do what only He is able or can do. The Lord will entrust the assignment; and, of course, He will help, correct and mend. However, the responsibility of implementation will lie upon us. The mission itself will continue to shape you and the new culture, its people, the living conditions, the needs of others, as well as challenges, problems, and responsibility for their decisions and actions will be a huge blessing in your life.
